This planet is uninhabitable with a score of 76 out of 100. It is similar to Earth in that its surface is comprised of 70% water. In early studies, this planet showed promise, but further research conducted on deep waters of the planet showed thousands of underwater geysers that periodically release boiling hot water containing a cocktail of deadly gases and high levels of mercury. Life could be sustained on the surface of the planet for only brief periods between these releases, which happen every 3-6 months. Side effects of the toxins and gases are unknown yet are predicted to decrease human life span by about 50%.
